Posted in 1999, this domain was originally intended as a showcase for whichever interesting new digital media techniques I was currently working on. Truth be told, I haven't really added anything since the original site went live. The name atomic hippo comes from an album cover illustration I designed for the industrial/punk band, Residue.

The year was 1997 and OS 8 had just come out. I was specializing in illustration for screenprint at the time, and designed this site to serve as a digital portfolio. It also features my first Shockwave production. I used this primitive video game project as a self-taught tutorial in Director and Lingo.
